2. Anna Hayward
Articles and a Poem

Contents:

Words in Pictures
(written as an 18 yr old student)

I paint pictures with my mind.

The pictures in my head are beautiful.
But when they are painted in words,
They lose their glory.
They seem shabby
And half-baked.

What a pity my poems,
Are so much better in my mind;
And that my words are more of a
Poor interpretation
Than an accurate translation
Of the brilliance inside myself.

What a pity reality is
So much less gorgeous
Than the Paradise
Inside my head.
